Do you like to play golf competitively or socially?

The Nashboro Golf Club Men’s Golf Association plays two events a month and two, two-day events a year including the Club Championship, as well as year long competitions. Events are divided between team play and individual play. The MGA plays the events on Saturdays, during the first tee times of the day. USGA handicaps are established and maintained throughout the year to insure play is equal for everyone to have the chance to win gift certificates.

1. 2007 Membership Fee= $105.00 – Allocated as follows:

        Added prize money for 15 official Nashboro MGA Tournaments
        Establishing / Adjusting USGA Handicap on GHIN Network
        Doughnuts for the morning of each event
        A Keg of Beer after each event

2. Entry Fee will be $72.00 per Tournament and will include 18 Hole Green Fee, Cart Fee, Prize Money and Range Balls. The Member-Member, Member-Guest and Club Championship will have their own fees.

3. Each MGA Member is responsible for calling the Golf Shop to sign up for each event. Members must sign up for each event by the Thursday at 6:00 pm prior to the event. Members who don’t sign up by the deadline will be put on the waiting list.

4. In order to minimize inconveniences, players must notify the Golf Shop 24 hours in advance if they wish to withdraw from an event.

5. Players not having a USGA Handicap will be assigned one by the handicap committee for the first two events. After the first two events, a player must have an established USGA Handicap to compete. The Tournament Committee will post all event scores.

6. Prizes for all events will be in the form of gift certificates, redeemable in the Golf Shop for merchandise only.

7. Members, age 60 years and older, may play events from the gold tees. A player choosing to play from the gold tees will have three shots subtracted from their handicap. A player must opt to play the gold tees or the white tees and remain on those tees for the year.

Note- ALL PLAYERS MUST ESTABLISH A HANDICAP TO COMPETE IN THE ASSOCIATION. IT IS THE KEY INGREDIENT TO PRODUCING COMPETITIVE TOURNAMENTS THAT ARE TRULY FAIR FOR EACH AND EVERY PARTICIPANT.

***The Player of the Year Points Leader after the Club Championship event will win an additional $100 in Gift Certificates and Membership to the 2008 Nashboro Golf Club MGA
